I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Lonestar Horsepower. This was one of the most expensive and underwhelming purchases I have ever made. I paid over $11,000 to have my motor built, and the entire experience fell far below what I expected at that price point. The job took twice as long as originally quoted, and communication throughout the build was poor. I received little to no updates, no photos, no videos, and no real documentation of the process. For a performance shop, I was also surprised that they did not perform a before dyno run. Without that, there is no clear way to compare the before and after results or know exactly how much horsepower was gained. At this level, that feels like something that should be standard. The overall customer experience was very underwhelming. There was no excitement, no presentation, and no sense that they cared about making the experience feel special. They did not post the build, did not make it feel memorable, and did not go out of their way to provide the kind of service you would expect after spending more than $11,000. Did great work on our Corvette. Explained and showed us all the little details that were done inside the engine. They also let us watch them dyno the car which was an experience for us! After all was done, they even had the car washed. They are a great shop and got a great team of people!

Awesome experience from the start to the end of this project! From the get go, Jess, Mitchel amd Casey where great to work with! Excellent Customer Service! Mitchel took charge - kept me up tp date, answered any & all questions..and kept me appraised by text messages, phone calls, photos..! My 2013 GS Corvette is a beast and a joy to drive!its making sweet, sweet music! The upgrades/ tuning on the car has put a big grin on this guy face!!! I give Lonestar Horsepower & Pefomance a 10* star rating..... your vehicle is in good hands with this guys! ....looking forward to visiting this guys to keep my vehicle in tip- top shape !

Huge shoutout to the team at Lonestar Horsepower for taking great care of my Camaro. from the start of the teardown to the final stages of the rebuild, they kept me in the loop with updated photos and clear communication the whole way through. Anytime I had questions, they took the time to explain things and even gave solid advice for future upgrades without any pressure. It’s rare to find a shop that not only does quality work but also makes you feel comfortable and welcome while doing it. If you’re looking for a performance shop that stands behind their work and treats customers right, I’d definitely recommend Lonestar horsepower. We have nothing but great things to say about these guys at Lonestar! From start to finish, they kept us up to date with everything going on with our vehicles and even going so far as pictures being sent showing us progress! Casey and Mitch gave us the best customer service, quoted and gave us top notch parts for our cars, not shorting quality anywhere in the process. Danny was awesome keeping us updated and the work he did was the best! The service and results were everything we hoped for and more! The shop and employees are very professional and treat you like family! Absolutely recommend and will go back for more horsepower!!!
